UAE mulls 10-year Golden and 5-year Silver licences for trad

The UAE Economic Integration Committee met on Wednesday for the second time in 2024, with Minister of Economy Abdullah Bin Touq Al Marri as chairman.

Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the Minister of State for Foreign Trade, attended the meeting along with officials from the departments of local economic development in each of the United Arab Emirates’ emirates.

Competitive pricing will be offered for these licenses. The idea seeks to support national economic growth, maintain business continuity, and raise government revenue.

The committee also looked at how far along the recommendations from its February 2024 inaugural meeting were being implemented.

Abdullah Bin Touq, for his part, said that the UAE, under the direction of the wise leadership, has enacted competitive and adaptable economic policies and laws. This has made conducting and building economic and corporate activity in the nation’s markets more competitive.

Furthermore, it has given businesspeople, investors, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists from all over the world a variety of chances and enablers.
