There are now 91 countries in the world that allow UAE nationals to enter their borders with a regular passport and no prior visa; 13 of these countries also offer visas to UAE nationals at entry points, arrival airports, or online.
According to the most recent revision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Visa Waiver Schedule, UAE nationals are now able to enter 14 Arab countries without a prior visa. These nations are: Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Comoros, Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
Seventeen Asian countries—including Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Korea, Brunei, and Kyrgyzstan—exempt citizens of the United Arab Emirates from requiring an advance visa when traveling with a regular passport. In contrast, citizens of Indonesia, Bangladesh, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Nepal, and the Maldives must obtain a visa at the airport. Visas for Tajikistan and Sri Lanka can be obtained online.
UAE nationals are exempt from requiring an advance visa in order to enter up to 44 European countries using a regular passport. In contrast, visas for the UK, Northern Ireland, and Spain can be obtained online. These countries are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Malta, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Liechtenstein, Belarus, Cyprus, Norway, Portugal, Spain, the Vatican, Andorra, San Marino, Monaco, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, and Georgia.
