UAE and Mongolia announce a 30-day visa waiver agreement.

As part of ongoing efforts to develop and strengthen bilateral relations and achieve the common interests of the people and countries, the United Arab Emirates and Mongolia signed a memorandum of understanding regarding mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary, diplomatic, unique, and mission passports.

This memorandum states that, as of December 28, 2023, citizens of the UAE who hold regular, diplomatic, official, and mission passports are exempt from needing a visa to enter Mongolia and may remain there for up to 30 days per visit. Citizens of Mongolia who hold diplomatic, official, and regular passports are exempt from needing a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates.

The memo, which is part of an effort to improve bilateral ties and ease travel between the United Arab Emirates and Mongolia, was signed by Minister of State for the UAE Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh and Minister of Foreign Affairs for Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh.

This action is believed to significantly improve cooperative efforts in politics, economy, culture, education, and other areas of common interest.
