UAE: A Foreigner Wants to Beat his own Record for the "Longest Distance Traveled on an E-Bike in a dDay."

Ali Abdo has dedicated his life to bringing attention to climate change because of his strong Beat environmental passion. The 39-year-old Egyptian is now committed to encouraging environmentally friendly modes of transportation.

In addition, Ali is a sustainability advocate and environmental champion who has set several world records, such as the “greatest distance on an electric motorcycle in a day” and the “world’s longest journey on an electric motorcycle,” both of which he accomplished in Egypt while on his “Ride to COP27.

Now, the creator of Ride to 2030 wants to break one of his world records. He plans to use his dependable electric motorbike to set a new record for the longest electric scooter ride in a single day.

His trip to the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, will commence with his mission from Dubai. On his route, he will pass across the borders of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.

Ali will travel with an Emirati Terra scooter with a 4KW motor and a top speed of 100kph. During his 40-day trip, he will recharge his scooter using any available power source and will carry extra batteries in emergencies.
