UAE: A beautiful daybreak by the lake, a BBQ, and a camping weekend well spent

Khaleej times

Residents of the UAE take advantage of the nice weather to enjoy time outside as the country cools down in the final two months of the year. There are plenty of new locations to discover in the Emirates, including lakes, green spaces, BBQ areas, and vast stretches of desert. But what if we told you about a location that integrates each of the four features?

You may set up your tent right next to the lake at Al Wathba Lake in Abu Dhabi, which helps you get in touch with the natural world. The 3,000 square meter artificial lake is surrounded by islands of greenery, and trees rise majestically from it.

There are designated areas at the location where visitors can camp or park their automobiles. There are 24 picnic spots with designated space for grilling. As your children zipline through the play zones, grill and make dinner.

The early morning is my favorite portion of the visit. You awaken to the sound of singing birds and the sight of the first rays of sunlight lighting up the starry night sky.

The lake’s trees and their reflections in the water intensify the early light. Set aside your tents and lunch as you explore the destination’s various sections. It takes roughly twenty minutes to walk around the lake’s shore. You cross the lake and enter its center via a bridge. The bridge floats and bobs softly in time with the river.
