The Memorandum of Understanding for borderless travel has made travel between the United Arab Emirates and Oman much faster and easier.
To promote tourism between Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) and the Governorate of Musandam in Oman, the Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran Group) and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) signed an agreement.
Musandam, which borders Ras al Khaimah, is a well-liked vacation spot for visitors and UAE citizens interested in water adventure activities.
By agreeing to this Memorandum of understanding, both parties hope to promote cross-destination travel more effectively through joint marketing initiatives, better transit connections, advantageous international traveler visa policies, and distinctive travel packages. The physical proximity of Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam, our typical Al Hajar Mountain range, and our deeply ingrained cultural and historical ties all contribute to the significance of this effort, according to Raki Phillips, CEO of RAK Tourism Development Authority.
