A fire that broke out in auto-used spare component warehouses was contained on Friday by the Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defence personnel. The fire did not result in any recorded casualties.

At 15:34 on Friday, the operations room of the Sharjah Police General Headquarters was notified of a fire that occurred in Industrial Area 6.

Fire engines arrived at the scene of the fire quickly, and they worked with Sharjah Police patrols to extinguish the fire and evacuate the workers. This helped to divert traffic away from the fire and locate alternate routes, which eased the congestion on the roads.

The civil defense personnel reported considerable damage to auto spare parts and warehouses as a result of the fire and were successful in putting it out quickly.

After starting the process of cooling the area to stop the fire from spreading, the firefighters turned the site over to the appropriate authorities so they could investigate the cause of the fire’s outbreak.
