To strengthen the UAE’s standing on the map of global creativity and culture, the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA), a highly regarded diplomatic center of excellence in the country, and the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Huda Alkhamis Kanoo, the founder of the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) and the artistic director of the Abu Dhabi Festival, and AGDA’s director general, Nickolay Mladenov, in front of several high-ranking officials from both sides.
The Director-General of AGDA, Nickolay Mladenov, commented on the announcement, saying: “This Memorandum of Understanding highlights our shared commitment to fully realize the potential of the UAE’s cultural and arts industry. We intend to carry out strategic projects that will honor the nation’s unique cultural identity and strive to increase public awareness of the critical role that cultural diplomacy plays in developing Emirati talent. These skills have the potential to make a big contribution to the country’s knowledge-based economy.”
“We are inspired by the vision of our President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, and his continuous commitment to building bridges of friendship and cooperation with nations that share our vision of long-term prosperity,” stated Huda Alkhamis Kanoo, the foundation’s founder.
