The Presidents of the UAE and Turkey Demand a Stop to the Fighting in Gaza.

The President, His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey, and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan talked about bolstering bilateral ties and cooperating to achieve the two nations’ extensive economic collaboration objectives.

The two parties emphasized the necessity of international efforts to end hostilities in the Gaza Strip, guarantee civilians’ complete protection by international humanitarian law, and ensure the continuous and safe delivery of humanitarian aid without running the risk of causing more harm or forcing civilians to flee.

They also emphasized how urgent it is to stop the Middle East’s conflict from worsening because doing so would endanger the peace and stability of the area. The main topic of conversation was how to increase collaboration in fields that would help both nations and their populations. The meeting happened during Erdogan’s Wednesday reception in Dubai. Erdogan is in the UAE as a guest of honor for the World Government Summit (WGS) 2024.

Sheikh Mohamed greeted Recep Tayyip Erdogan and noted that ties between the UAE and Turkey had significantly improved, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, energy, technology, and sustainable development. In order to strengthen bilateral ties, both presidents are dedicated to advancing this development.
