The Presidents of the UAE and Egypt Talk About each Other and Regional Developments

The President, His Excellency During a multi-day private visit, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt in New Alamein City.

During their meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Sisi discussed their strong brotherly ties and the wide range of areas in which their nations can cooperate.

They looked into ways to strengthen these ties at all levels to serve shared interests and fulfil their peoples’ aspirations for continued advancement and prosperity. The two leaders also discussed issues of mutual concern regarding regional and global developments.

The commitment to continue consulting on a range of issues was reiterated by Sheikh Mohamed and Sisi. Their close coordination is a clear indication of the strong fraternal ties that exist between Egypt and the UAE.

Together with touring the city, the leaders were briefed on its major attractions and saw how ongoing development and construction projects were coming along. Sheikh Mohamed landed at El Alamein Airport after his trip to Egypt was over. Along with a number of high-ranking officials, Sisi bid him farewell.
