The President of the UAE Greets the Leader of Chile at an Official Ceremony at Qasr Al Watan.

President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness The President of the Republic of Chile, His Excellency Gabriel Boric Font, started an official visit to the United Arab Emirates on Monday and was received by Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Upon his arrival, His Excellency was given a formal welcome at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The national anthems of Chile and the United Arab Emirates were played as Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan escorted the distinguished guest to the dais of honour. In honour of His Excellency the President of Chile, an honour guard was gathered, and a 21-gun salute was fired.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, joined Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, at the reception.

The official delegation accompanying Gabriel Boric Font includes His Excellency Alberto van Klaveren, Chile’s Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nicolás Grau, Chile’s Minister of Economy, Development, and Tourism; and Jessica Lopez Saffie, Minister of Public Affairs.
