The chief of staff of the UAE armed forces is present at Mohamed Al Shamsi's funeral prayer.

Following the Al Asr prayer in the Al Mutawa mosque in Al Ain, Staff Lieutenant General Issa Saif Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, led the burial prayer over the remains of UAE martyr Mohamed Al Shamsi.
Alongside Staff Lieutenant General Al Mazrouei were many military and police officials and civilians who led the funeral prayer.

As part of a bilateral agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Somalia, the bodies of martyr Mohamed Al Shamsi arrived at the Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi this morning, along with the bodies of the four other UAE martyrs who died while carrying out their mission to train and qualify the Somali Armed Forces.
