Sheikh Zayed has granted housing assistance totaling Dhs350 million for people.

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, approved 460 housing subsidies for people totaling around Dhs350 million. Grants, loans, and government housing are among the available aid options.
The ministry has approved the names of 188 eligible citizens for housing grants totaling Dhs128.5 million, by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives in June 2022 to complete all housing grant applications from previous years through His Highness’ initiatives for Dhs2.3 billion.

Suhail Bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, stated that the new housing aid package demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to improving citizens’ stability and quality of life.

This commitment is part of ongoing efforts to promote social welfare and support citizens. It aligns with the leadership’s objective of creating a decent and stable living for all citizens.

He said, “We hope to improve housing leadership through integrated national initiatives targeted at strengthening the housing sector across the country, serving citizens, and ensuring the long-term viability of stability and prosperity. We have specific plans for the next 50 years focusing on improving human life and quality of life.”
