Sheikh Sultan Directs the Establishment of Quranic Schools Throughout Africa.

The Honorable Supreme Council member and ruler of Sheikh Sharjah, Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, has given Al Qasimia University the task of implementing a scheme to establish Quranic schools across Africa.

These institutions’ main objectives will be teaching and memorizing the Holy Quran and caring for those who study and memorize it. Furthermore, these establishments will hire university graduates to disseminate Quranic studies across the nations they represent.

During a ceremony honoring the reciters who finished the exclusive Quranic recitations recorded and produced by Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, Sheikh Sultan announced the initiative during his speech on Wednesday.

During the ceremony at Dr Sultan Al Qasimi’s Centre, the Ruler of Sharjah approved the proposal to launch a television channel dedicated to the Holy Quran.

This channel will feature all Quran-related studies, interpretations, affairs, scholars, and reciters. The channel will supplement Sharjah’s efforts and endeavors to serve the Holy Quran, Islamic affairs, and culture.
