The Honorable A total of Dh246.6 billion was spent in the Government of Dubai’s general budget for the fiscal cycle of 2024–2026, which was approved on Monday by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
Sheikh Mohammed also approved Law No. (20) of 2023, which relates to the General Budget of the Dubai Government for the Fiscal Year 2024. The budget’s estimated expenditures are Dh79.1 billion, reflecting the emirate’s economic recovery and bolstering its goals to support the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda “D33” and the Dubai Strategic Plan 2030 development project.
The crown prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who also serves as chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, stated: “The budget for 2024–2026 lays out a financial plan for advancing our goals to promote exponential economic growth and strengthen Dubai’s standing as a major global economic force.”
“Led by His Highness’s vision” The new budget will be crucial in helping us reach our objectives of doubling the city’s GDP and placing it among the top three metropolitan economies in the world within the next ten years, according to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai. The budget also demonstrates our dedication to striking a harmonious balance between the greatest growth aspirations and economic stability, which is supported by prudent financial policies.
