Sheikh Mohamed and Putin Spoke about Regional and Worldwide Events Over the Phone

Sheikh Mohamed called Vladimir Putin to discuss ways to improve the two countries’ relationship even more.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, thanked Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, for his successful mediation of a prisoner exchange between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Along with that, they spoke about various mutually beneficial regional and global concerns, emphasizing the situation in Ukraine.

Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering commitment to advancing peace and stability in the region and worldwide, highlighting the significance of continuing diplomatic efforts and dialogue to resolve issues.

He emphasized how committed the UAE is to supporting initiatives meant to lessen the humanitarian effects of the Ukraine conflict.
