Sharjah Islamic Affairs has stated that 11,110 courses and talks will be held in mosques throughout the emirate during the first week of Ramadan.
In addition, 32 lectures were delivered within governmental organizations, departments, and bodies and 14 virtual sessions via various social media platforms.
Abdullah Khalifa Yaroof Al Sebusi, Chairman of Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department, emphasized the Ramadan program’s inclusive nature, which includes all cities in the emirate. This project emphasizes the importance of Ramadan among the Muslim community.
The lessons and lectures focused on discussing the fundamental principles of Ramadan and the major components of fasting jurisprudence. The department also implemented lessons that interpreted the Holy Quran, explained the meanings of its lexicon, and clarified its rulings, directions, and directives.
The department organized awareness lectures to encourage the public to donate to charitable causes and to teach the value of generosity.
The department established specific mosques to serve non-Arab people, allowing for English, Urdu, and Malaybari instruction throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
