Saudi-Qatari relations are discussed during a cabinet meeting chaired by King Salman.

The Saudi Press Agency said that King Salman presided over a council of ministers meeting in Riyadh on Tuesday, where topics of discussion included Saudi-Qatari relations.

The formal visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Qatar and his discussions with Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al-Thani were the topics of discussion at the session.

The seventh Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council meeting yielded many positive outcomes, including the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries, which were praised by the council.

The Kuwaiti Emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, passed away, and the council sent condolences to his family. Furthermore, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was congratulated by the council on taking over as Kuwait’s leader.

Additionally, the Kingdom’s proactive participation in diplomatic and humanitarian endeavors aimed at stopping Israeli assaults on the Gaza Strip was discussed in the council. They work to keep affected parties safe and to offer continuous humanitarian assistance.
