Saudi Fund for Development Commits 2 Billion Riyals in Agreements with African Nations

At the Saudi-Arab-African Economic Conference in Riyadh on Thursday, Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan shared some news. He said the Saudi Fund for Development is getting ready to sign deals worth 2 billion riyals (around $533 million) with different African countries.

Al-Jadaan mentioned that they are working together to help out Ghana and other nations with their debts.

In the same conference, Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih added that the Public Investment Fund, with a hefty sum of over $700 billion, is planning to make significant investments in Africa to make a positive impact.

Talking about energy, Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman also made commitments. He signed early agreements with African countries like Nigeria, Senegal, Chad, and Ethiopia. The goal is to team up on projects related to energy.
