RIYADH: US Senator Lindsey Graham had a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, according to the ministry.
Prince Faisal emphasizes how important it is for there to be a ceasefire in order to stop the killing and prevent a further escalation that may significantly compromise regional security.
The Saudi envoy spoke with the Republican lawmaker on the Gaza crisis and emphasized that, in order to guarantee the safe delivery of supplies, every effort must be taken to secure humanitarian relief corridors.
According to Palestinian sources, Israel is carrying out a murderous attack on the enclave that has claimed 17,000 lives. The violent Hamas group, which assaulted settlements close to Gaza on October 7 and killed 1,200 people while taking approximately 240 captives, will be destroyed, Israel has pledged.
In order to guarantee that the Palestinian people receive their legal rights, Prince Faisal and Graham also talked about the necessity of setting up the conditions for the restoration of a route to peace and the return of stability to Gaza.
Princess Reema bint Bandar, the Saudi ambassador to the US, was also present during the meeting.
