During a meeting on Monday with the foreign ministers of China and several Arab Saudi FM and Islamic nations, Saudi Arabia’s Prince Faisal bin Farhan stated that the international community must take the lead in putting an end to Israel’s abuses in Gaza.
On the first stop of a visit to the permanent members of the UN Security Council, the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia and his counterparts from Arab and Islamic countries arrived in Beijing on Monday. Their goal is to advocate for an immediate ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid into the region.
At a Beijing diplomatic summit, Prince Faisal urged increased international action to put a stop to the Gaza War and preserve lives.
Speaking to reporters, the foreign minister stated, “We are here to send a clear signal: that is we must immediately stop the fighting and the killings, we must immediately deliver humanitarian supplies to Gaza.”
Prince Faisal continued, “We hope to work with China and other nations that recognize the gravity of the situation to put an end to the war.”
He drew attention to the dire developments in Gaza that call for decisive international action to put an end to the carnage, which has claimed over 12,000 lives to date.
