Saudi Citizens can Register for the Hajj now; First-time Pilgrims are Given Preference.

Saudi Arabian pilgrims can now register for the Hajj and Umrah through the Ministry of Tourism. This year (1445 AH or 2024), citizens and residents who would like to undertake the Haj may do so beginning on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. local time.

Pilgrims have two alternatives for registering: through the ministry’s website or the ‘Nusuk’ app, which allows them to browse and select their preferred Haj package. Those who haven’t completed their Haj will be given preference when booking.

The ministry has made it easier for registrants by offering the option to pay in whole at the time of registration or in part, subject to the specified terms and restrictions.

The ministry advised persons registering to make sure the details they register and the packages they choose are accurate. Additionally, it has stated that the same mobile number cannot be linked to more than one application.
