Saudi Arabia has been declared the host of the next edition of the Fifa Club World Cup, with the tournament that will be scheduled from 12- 22 December 2023. This much-awaited sports event by the country will build a substantial positive acceleration behind Saudi football in the games of men and women at all levels.
The decision was made at a Fifa Council meeting on Tuesday, 14 February 2023, only a few days after Al Hilal became the first winner of the AFC Champions League and the first Saudi club to reach the final of the tournament.
