RIYADH: Following a meeting of the coordination council between the two countries on Tuesday, a joint statement claimed that Saudi Arabia and Qatar relations are undergoing rapid development and cooperation at all levels.
During an official visit to Qatar, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met the emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad.
The statement read, “Necessary to strive with all seriousness to deepen and expand the areas of bilateral cooperation in a way that achieves a future sustainable renaissance and growth,” indicating that the two leaders acknowledged the council’s importance as a channel of communication between the two GCC nations.
To attend sessions of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council and the GCC Supreme Council, the crown prince and his delegation traveled to Doha on Tuesday.
Both Sheikh Tamim and the crown prince conveyed their satisfaction with the agreements and memorandums of understanding inked during the subcommittee meetings, as well as the good efforts and consensus that were achieved.
With the assistance and encouragement of the Executive Committee and the General Secretariat of the council, it also seeks to put the initiatives and suggestions of the subcommittees into action.
