PARIS: The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Media is hosting a three-day event called Media Oasis to showcase the Kingdom’s progress, development, and cultural shift.

The fifth edition brings together a delegation of Saudi ministers, the mayor of Riyadh, and the leadership of Saudi megaproject companies to discuss their latest and upcoming projects under Vision 2030, what the Kingdom will look like by 2030, and why Riyadh is the place to be and host the next world expo after Osaka in 2025. It is being held at the Pavillon Vendome in Paris ahead of the Bureau International des Expositions announcement of the Expo 2030 host country.

The “city of tomorrow,” Saudi heritage, and the nation’s cultural treasures are on display at the Media Oasis, which has nine sectors ranging from hospitality to culture and sport. Present are Riyadh Expo 2030, Diriyah, NEOM, the Ministry of Sport, Visit Saudi, and more.

In addition to organizing the Asia 2027 Winter Games in Trojena, the Ministry of Sport is developing 33 new events for 2024. The Kingdom’s transformation initiatives, as well as sustainable sports events and activities, take sustainability into account.
