Registrations and Driver’s Licences are Now Incorporated into Samsung Wallet

The integration of driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations into Samsung Wallet has been announced by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in collaboration with Samsung Gulf Electronics.

This collaboration is in line with RTA’s commitment to using technology to guarantee a smooth transport network, improve the driving experience, and realize Dubai’s goal of becoming the leading smart city in the world. Through the RTA app, Samsung users can now add their driver’s license and vehicle registration details directly to their Samsung Wallet.

With this integration, managing crucial documents pertaining to transportation is made easier and there is no longer a need for separate apps.

“The Roads and Transport Authority is committed to innovation and development and aims to introduce initiatives that provide convenient transport solutions for the public,” stated Meera Al Shaikh, Director of Smart Services at RTA. This collaboration highlights our continued efforts to incorporate vital services and make use of smart technologies. We will advance towards a digital future and transform urban mobility with smartphones, in line with Dubai’s goal of becoming the world’s most innovative city
