Emirates, a Dubai-based airline, announced Friday that it will serve thousands of meal boxes to fasting passengers onboard and at the Dubai International Airport’s boarding gates during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Dubai-based carrier has said it will show various religious content, popular TV episodes on ice, and traditional Ramadan cuisine in its lounges.
Meanwhile, according to the airline, the captain will advise Muslim passengers on a flight about the iftar hour.
Ramadan boxes will also be served on aircraft catering to Umrah parties visiting Jeddah and Medina. Passengers can also check in one bottle of Islamic holy water Zamzam (up to 5 liters per person) at DXB and other Saudi airports.
