8On Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation and President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the many aspects of the relationship between the United Arab Emirates and Russia.

Prospects to improve cooperation within the framework of the bilateral strategic partnership were also discussed by the two parties. They also discussed a range of mutually interesting regional and global concerns.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Putin to the UAE during the meeting, which was held in Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, and praised his noteworthy contributions to the development of UAE-Russia relations on a number of fronts.

Putin congratulated His Highness on the 52nd Union Day and conveyed his hopes for the UAE’s ongoing development and prosperity.

Along with exchanging opinions on a range of topics of shared interest, the two parties concentrated on developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

In order to secure a truce in the Gaza Strip, safeguard civilians, and guarantee the secure, uninterrupted, and uninterrupted distribution of humanitarian aid, they emphasized the necessity of international involvement.
