Celebrated Spanish football player Andres Iniesta recently wore a traditional kandura in honor of the  52nd on UAE National Day celebrations, much to the delight of Emiratis.

The legend was pictured by the Emirates Football Club wearing the traditional Bisht cloak, helmet, and kandura.

Celebrated Spanish football player Andres Iniesta recently wore a traditional kandura in honor of the UAE’s National D52nd The former Barcelona and Spanish midfielder made headlines in the sports world in August of this year when he signed a one-year contract with Emirate Club in Ras Al Khaimah.

Celebrated Spanish football player Andres Iniesta recently wore a traditional kandura in honor of the UAE’s National D52nd Saeed Alremeithi, a native of the United Arab Emirates, told News Times, “It’s amazing how tolerant and open the UAE is to accepting different cultures and traditions.” It’s great that those who come or who live here wear it, particularly a man of Iniesta’s caliber, as it shows respect for regional traditions and customs.”
