The Honorable The 29th edition of Gulfood, the largest annual global food and beverage (F&B) sourcing show in the world, kicked off at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) on Monday. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, visited the event.
Gulfood 2024, according to Sheikh Mohammed, demonstrates the UAE’s expanding role in promoting partnerships and knowledge sharing to enhance excellence in crucial international industries.
The event also is a significant forum for fostering international cooperation in the food industry, demonstrating the UAE’s desire to foster alliances between essential stakeholders and the public and commercial sectors.
He claimed that because of its standing as a center of innovation and technology, a central hub for international trade, and its excellent infrastructure and connectivity, Dubai is well-positioned to contribute significantly to improving global food security.
The Gulfood 2024 organization, according to Sheikh Mohammed, is in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aspires to double Dubai’s GDP and place it among the top three urban economies in the world. The UAE aims to make significant contributions by encouraging excellence and sustainable practices.
