Meet the woman who has run down every Dubai street.

A marathon runner from Dubai has completed every street in the city. Meet the woman Yasmine Salaam, affectionately known as the “Pink Taxi Runner,” has traversed the whole emirate of Dubai, encompassing Hatta, from the Abudhabi border to the Sharjah border.

In an interview with news Times, she expressed her pride in the accomplishment. “I have joyfully traveled every inch of the Dubai emirate, street by street. This indicates that I have driven every street constructed by the RTA, except highways and alleys.

Yasmine, who began her effort on the inaugural day of the 2018 Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), claimed to now be well-versed in the nation she has lived in for the past 48 years. “I have learned everything there is to know about Dubai from how people live and work to how the city functions and serves its citizens, how urban planning is carried out, and how civil engineering contributes to a well-organized way of life for communities,” the woman stated. “I have watched the development of an amazing city of the future over the five years 2018–2023, including the year of the pandemic.”
