We recently had the chance to interview Rashed Alrashed, owner of S.A.J.A Real Estate and former Senior Executive Officer at Rasameel Investment House. With over 20 years of real estate and investment expertise, he is undoubtedly one of the best in this industry. Besides that, he was also the V.P. of alternative investments that includes local SMC GCC real estate in the company, where he managed a portfolio of real estate worth over 19 million K.D. in the G.C.C. region. Start Of The Journey
We started the interview by asking, “Which career path led you to where you are today?”
He shared, “I discovered I am passionate about investment in the stock market and real estate while studying Mechanical engineering in the U.S.- California. Since then, I shifted to Business Administration- economics and have chosen this path for 20 years between stock market investments and real estate.”
Inspiration Behind Starting The Company
We wanted to learn about the significant inspiration behind building this successful business. So we asked, “What inspired you to develop the idea of your company?”
He replied, “In my twenty years of experience working in real estate and investments, I’ve seen that the market needs organizations in the region that provide a higher quality of expertise and service in the real estate field.”
Evolving Priorities
Priorities of businesses change over the years in the industry. We asked, “How have your priorities in terms of business evolved since you first started?”
Rashed shared, “Our priority when we started the company is using our investment experience in helping our clients to reach their goals when they invest in Real Estate by using our networking we built in the last 20 years, and our goal is to gain more market share and be in the top ten brokerage companies within 5 years.”
Challenges And Key Points To Overcome Them
Every company faces ups and downs in the industry. And the most crucial part is how they overcome all these challenges. We asked, “What are the most challenging situations your company overcomes?”
He shared, “The real estate market in the U.A.E., in general, and in Dubai, is challenging because of the high competition. Since it is an attractive market, especially after the Covid pandemic, the real estate activity increased to reach pre-pandemic levels; the market has excellent developers with attractive projects to local and international customers worldwide.”
“What’s the key strength to overcome it?”
He added, “One of our key strengths in S.A.J.A. Real estate is credibility and improves communication with clients, ultimately enhancing the overall experience for both buyers and sellers. Additionally, a strong team of knowledgeable agents who can provide expert guidance and support throughout the buying and selling process.”

We asked, “What makes your company stand out from all the other businesses in your industry?”
He shared, “S.A.J.A. Real Estate benefits from our 20 years of experience in investments, which built a good relationship with corporate, High net worth clients, and even governments, that will benefit our clients, either a seller or a buyer of real estate assets.”
KPIs For Measuring Business Success
We wanted to have a glimpse of the KPIs that his business uses in measuring success. So we asked, “What KPIs do you use to measure your business success?”
He replied, “The KPIs we use in the company for the sales team are client feedback, number and size of closed deals, and client networking. For the company overall is the net income and ranking between the brokerage companies in terms of several deals closed and the size of the deal.”

He shared, “We always keep up with any new technology that helps our business in Real estate besides using the Technology in marketing our client’s assets and planning to implement a new software for our internal work to follow up with our clients.”
