We recently had the privilege of interviewing Hassan Tirmizi, a seasoned Organizational Development Strategist, and the Founder and Principal Consultant at Human Transformation Crew. With over 19 years of extensive experience across various industries and sectors, Hassan excels in strategic organizational development, restructuring, process re-engineering, and lean management.
At Human Transformation Crew, Hassan heads a team of experts who empower individuals and organizations through transformative changes, fostering lasting success. In this amazing session, Hassan speaks about his career journey over these years, and visions for the growth of the HR industry, and shares his business expansion plans and priorities for the days to come.
The Beginning
We started the interview by asking, “What were the key milestones in your career that led you to where you are today?”
Hassan Tirmizi shared, “My career journey has been a tapestry of diverse experiences and learning. It started with my academic pursuits – earning a Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences from Air University, Islamabad, and an MBA from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. These academic milestones equipped me with a robust foundation in both technology and business. To further enhance my skills, I completed Chartered MCIPD from Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development UK, Certified Practitioner HR from Australian HR Institute and then was titled as a Chartered Manager (Fellow) from Chartered Institute of Management UK.
In this journey, I have gained exposure in different industries including cement, insurance, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, oil and gas, agriculture, aviation, security services, and financial institutions, with experience in both private and public sector organizations.”
Hassan Tirmizi added, “Each role enriched my understanding of organizational dynamics and honed my leadership skills. Founding HT Crew was a pivotal moment, inspired by my passion for transforming organizations and empowering individuals.
Achieving ISO 9001 certification, International Accreditations from TRACCERT Canada and KHDA Dubai was another significant milestone, underscoring our commitment to excellence. Consulting 100+ Corporates, 250+ Startups, 3 Public Sector Organizations transformed and facilitating over 600 training sessions since 2012 has been incredibly rewarding, validating our impact on over 9,000+ professionals.”
Priorities As A Business Leader
We were curious to learn more about the challenges and priorities of Hassan Tirmizi while leading his business. So, we asked, “Describe a day in your life as the leader of your company. What are your main focuses and challenges?”
Hassan Tirmizi replied, “A typical day in my life is dynamic and fulfilling. I start my mornings with strategic meetings with my executive team, setting the tone for the day. My primary focus is on client consultations, where I design tailored training and transformation solutions. These interactions are both challenging and invigorating, as they push me to think creatively and stay ahead of industry trends.
Juggling client needs and long-term goals is a constant challenge. I prioritize team growth and mentorship to stay energized and focused. This blend of strategic oversight, client interaction, and team development keeps me energized and focused.”

We further asked, “How do you stay motivated and continue to find passion in your work?”
Hassan Tirmizi responded, “What keeps me motivated is the tangible impact our work has on people and organizations. Witnessing clients unlock their full potential, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding. My passion is fueled by the success stories of individuals and teams who thrive because of our interventions. I stay inspired through continuous learning and industry connections. I find satisfaction in helping others achieve success and resilience, driving sustainable change in their lives.”

“Effective communication is the cornerstone of my leadership strategy. I believe in fostering a culture of trust and collaboration, where every team member feels valued and empowered. Providing autonomy and encouraging innovation are key to keeping my team motivated and invested in their work.
Regular training and development programs are essential, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of HR practices. I also place a strong emphasis on feedback – both giving and receiving, to continuously refine our processes and outcomes. By creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment, we can achieve remarkable results together.” Hassan replied.
Adaptability Amidst Uncertainties
Amidst the rapidly evolving market conditions, adapting the business can be quite challenging. So, we asked, “In what ways has your industry changed since you started, and how has your company adapted to these changes?”
Hassan Tirmizi shared, “The HR industry has evolved significantly, particularly with the advent of digital transformation and the integration of AI and data analytics. There is a stronger focus now on employee well-being and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).

Eager to learn the triumphs of HT Crew, we inquired, “Can you share a success story from your business that you’re particularly proud of?”
Hassan Tirmizi shared, “One success story that stands out involves transforming the culture and performance of a multinational client facing high employee turnover and low engagement.
We achieved significant improvements in the turnover rate, which was previously a struggle by implementing several initiatives. Initiatives including Comprehensive Performance Management System, Merit-based compensation policies, aggressive but targeted training, Education Enhancement initiatives, and revamping of critical HR policies led to a remarkable 44% decrease in turnover.
Additionally, the overall per-head productivity increased by 104%. This transformation not only improved their business outcomes but also created a more vibrant and committed workforce. It’s moments like these that remind me why I do what I do.”
Striking A Perfect Balance
Having a work-life balance is paramount. So, we asked Hassan Tirmizi, “How do you balance the demands of your career with your personal life?”
“Balancing career and personal life requires intentional effort and planning. I prioritize tasks and delegate effectively to avoid being overwhelmed. Regular walks, mindfulness practices, and spending quality time with my family are crucial for maintaining my physical and mental well-being.
I prioritize spending quality time with my family, whether through shared meals, outdoor activities, or relaxing together. Taking breaks to recharge is crucial for productivity. By setting boundaries, I maintain a healthy work-life balance for personal satisfaction and professional success.” Hassan Tirmizi added.

Hassan Tirmizi reflected, “The future of HR is incredibly exciting, with technology continuing to play a transformative role. AI and machine learning will drive efficiencies and provide deeper insights into workforce dynamics. There will be an increasing focus on holistic employee well-being and creating inclusive work environments where diverse talent can thrive.
Organizations will need to be more agile and responsive to changes.
