We recently had the opportunity to interview Enrico Ralph Florita, Co-founder and Co-owner at FELCO Global Business Services. From aspiring to become a lawyer to finding his company, Enrico’s journey is truly inspirational.

We started the interview by asking, “What motivated you to enter your current field of Business, and can you share some of the key milestones in your journey?”
Enrico Ralph Florita shared, “My motivation to enter the field of business setup stems from a combination of personal experience and a deep passion for entrepreneurship. Back in the Philippines, I studied for a Bachelor Of Law and dreamed of becoming a lawyer. But I moved here to Dubai because my wife works here as a Nurse in the Government.
Before starting this business, I was running another company which, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to discontinue. That experience, while challenging, provided me with invaluable insights into the complexities and hurdles that entrepreneurs face when starting and managing a business.”
Enrico Ralph Florita added, “Recognizing the need for more streamlined and supportive business setup processes, I was inspired to create a company dedicated to helping others navigate these challenges effectively. I wanted to leverage my past experiences to build a service that could make a meaningful difference in the entrepreneurial landscape.
One of the key milestones in my journey was the founding of our company. Starting from a small team with a vision to simplify the business setup process, we aimed to provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs and investors. Establishing the company and defining our unique value proposition was a significant achievement.”

We were interested to learn more about the duties and challenges faced by Enrico Ralph Florida in his workspace. So, we asked, “What are the key responsibilities and challenges in your current role, and how do you manage them on a day-to-day basis?”
Enrico Ralph Florita shared, “My key responsibilities revolve around steering the overall strategy and direction of the company, ensuring we deliver exceptional service to our clients, and driving operational efficiency. Business setup often involves dealing with complex and evolving regulations.
To manage this, I stay informed about regulatory updates and ensure our team is well-trained to handle compliance issues efficiently. I strive to lead our company towards continued success and growth, ensuring we consistently deliver value to our clients and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.”
Emerging Trends Of Enrico’s Industry
We further asked, “What emerging trends or innovations in your industry excite you the most, and why?”
“As the Managing Director of a business setup company, I’m particularly excited about several emerging trends and innovations that are poised to significantly enhance our industry. Digital transformation and automation are revolutionizing business setup services, with AI-driven chatbots, automated compliance checks, and digital document management streamlining processes and improving accuracy. Blockchain technology is also gaining traction for its ability to enhance security and transparency, offering greater trust and reduced fraud in transactions.” Enrico added.
He also mentioned, “I had a client who took a Tailoring Business License from me. During our meeting he asked me what other business is good nowadays to run here in Dubai, and I suggested this Business Setup or Company Formation business. That client is Mr Felisardo Sarge Gumapac, and he is my Business Partner now. We finalized everything with a cup of coffee in a coffee shop. He was my missing piece of the puzzle to make my plan to start a business into reality.”

While challenging phases are an inevitable part of every business journey. To learn how Enrico overcame the same, we inquired, “What major obstacles have you encountered in your career, and how did you successfully address and overcome them?”
Enrico Ralph Florita shared, “I’ve encountered several major obstacles, each of which has been a valuable learning experience and contributed to our growth and success. One of the most significant obstacles has been dealing with complex and frequently changing regulatory environments. To address this, we implemented a robust compliance management system and invested in continuous training for our team.
We also established strong relationships with legal and regulatory experts to stay informed and adapt quickly to changes. This proactive approach ensured that we could provide accurate and up-to-date guidance to our clients.
Balancing client expectations with practical limitations was another significant obstacle. We addressed this by setting clear, realistic expectations from the outset and maintaining transparent communication throughout the process. Implementing a feedback loop allowed us to quickly address any issues and continuously improve our service delivery.”

Enrico Ralph Florita replied, “The accomplishment I am most proud of is the successful development and launch of our integrated business setup platform. This platform was designed to streamline and simplify the entire business formation process, making it more efficient and user-friendly for our clients.
The impact of this accomplishment on our organization has been profound. Firstly, it significantly enhanced our operational efficiency by automating numerous manual processes, which allowed us to handle a higher volume of clients with greater accuracy and speed. This automation also reduced administrative costs and minimized errors, resulting in a more cost-effective and reliable service.
Secondly, the platform improved our client experience by providing a seamless and transparent process. Clients can now manage their business setup activities online, access real-time updates, and receive personalized support, all from a single interface. This has led to increased client satisfaction and loyalty, as well as positive referrals and a stronger reputation in the industry.”

Enrico Ralph Florita shared, “In the field of business setup, several essential skills and qualities are crucial for success, like the ability to see the big picture and develop strategies that align with clients’ goals and market trends. Aspiring professionals can develop strategic thinking by staying informed about industry developments, analyzing case studies, and engaging in strategic planning exercises.
Effective communication is also essential for understanding client needs, providing clear guidance, and managing expectations. Aspiring professionals should focus on developing both verbal and written communication skills through courses, practice, and seeking feedback.”

“I believe AI and technology will profoundly transform our industry by automating routine tasks, enhancing data analytics, and improving client interactions. Automation of administrative processes like document handling and compliance checks will reduce errors and accelerate operations, allowing our team to focus on strategic activities.
Advanced data analytics will enable us to offer more personalized and strategic advice by providing deeper insights into market trends and client behaviors. AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants will enhance client interactions by delivering real-time support, while AI-driven risk management tools will help us proactively address compliance issues.” He added.
