We recently had the privilege of interviewing Dr. Hanan Al Mheiri, CEO and Founder of Hanan Empire. Being passionate about Knowledge Management since 2007 and constant learning, led Hanan to build the “Hanan Empire”. She aims to empower individuals to live majestically and manifest their dreams.
With Hanan Empire, Dr. Hanan helps organizations transform their leadership and organizational culture. In this insightful interview, the CEO shares her professional journey, and her passion for helping individuals achieve their dreams, and offers suggestions for aspiring beginners.
Spark Behind The Journey
We were interested to learn about the advent of Dr. Hanan Al Mheiri’s professional endeavors. So, we asked, “What ignited your passion and led you to embark on your professional journey in this particular field?”
Hanan shared, “The journey began when I started training in the government and became a certified internal trainer in 2007. Training was not my primary role, but it was one of the activities I engaged in to raise awareness and educate employees about the domain of knowledge management. This experience sparked my interest in coaching individuals and transforming organizational results.
Later, I moved to another government organization, where I was privileged to have a similar opportunity to become an internal trainer, despite it not being my primary role as I was in a managerial lane. This further fuelled my passion for coaching. In 2017, I pursued my talent for training by attending a program that certified me as an International Certified Professional Trainer from the International Accredited Trainer Society in France.
However, my love and passion for coaching were also solidified after experiencing personal coaching myself. I discovered its transformative power in expanding horizons, achieving quantum leaps, and unlocking full potential.”
Setting Up The Business
To learn more about the factors that inspired Dr. Hanan in this field and how she set her business apart from the competition, we asked, “Share more about your background and the unique story behind the inception of your business. What sets it apart in the market?”
She shared, “After experiencing multiple coaching programs and realizing the transformative benefits, I founded the Hanan Empire in May 2023 with the belief and support of others. For instance, my dad was watching and observing my successes and my hard work at the Corporate and one time he said – You know Hanan, if you put these efforts you put in the corporate and create your own business, I am sure you will be a billionaire.
With guidance from my coach Samira, I asked my inner circle about my unique qualities. They identified me as a natural leader who inspires others. Furthermore, they praised my training sessions and workshops. These responses fueled my motivation to establish the Hanan Empire in May 2022. Our mission is to transform leadership and organizational culture, ensuring success for both organizations and individuals. What sets us apart is our holistic approach, empowering individuals to live passionately and fostering enlightened leadership and vibrant organizational cultures.”
“The Hanan Empire allowed me to start coaching on a personal level and to help individuals to see what I see in them which is their potential and help them have bigger goals for themselves. I started the Hanan Empire with two objectives, to help organizations achieve better results through transformation of leadership and organizational culture and to help individuals live life majestically.

Busting Common Myths
Every industry has some common misconceptions that need to be addressed by the leaders of the relevant field. So, we asked Dr. Hanan Al Mheiri, “Identify a prevalent misconception about your industry or role that you believe needs clarification. How would you address and rectify this perception?”
She responded, “One common misconception is that coaching and organizational transformation are solely about implementing strategies and systems. However, the human element is equally important. I would address this misconception by highlighting the significance of human behavior in driving organizational change. Emphasizing the role of interventions to modify behaviors, processes, and systems would help rectify this perception.”
Adaptability Amidst Adversities
Every journey has been filled with inevitable challenges. To learn how Dr. Hanan Al Mheiri overcame the same, we asked, “Reflecting on your journey, what significant challenges have you encountered in your business, and how did you successfully navigate and overcome them?”
“I can say that I am very lucky, grateful, and blessed with my journey. I have enjoyed the hard times and the good times. Each of those moments has taught me something, mainly how to repeat successes or how to improve and smartly avoid any setback.
But I would generally say that I was blessed by the support I received from my peers, coaches, family, my support system circle, and accountability partners which made this journey very rewarding.” Hanan shared.
Achieving Professional Aspirations
We further asked, “Outline your professional aspirations and goals. What strategic initiatives are you implementing to achieve these objectives?”
Hanan added, “My aspiration is for the Hanan Empire to be the catalyst for profound organizational and individual growth. To achieve this, I’m focusing on strategic initiatives such as personalized coaching programs, leadership development workshops, and cultural transformation interventions. These initiatives aim to empower individuals and organizations to realize their full potential and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Launching a study and documentary on life partner/marriage relationships, utilizing my film directing and research background. Objective: raise awareness about crucial considerations before commitment, given the high global divorce rate (30-50%), potentially linked to marrying young.
Hence, this study aims to raise awareness and guide individuals in understanding their needs in a partner, conflict resolution in relationships, and establishing healthy boundaries for long-lasting and sustainable relationships. It will benefit young generations lacking experience, married couples seeking to enhance their marriage, and promote awareness of healthy boundaries in relationships.”
Fostering Teamwork
Collaboration and teamwork are integral to success. We asked, “Could you elaborate on the methods and practices you employ to foster a culture of collaboration within your organization or group?”
She replied, “I foster a culture of collaboration through empathetic leadership, inclusive decision-making, providing resources and support, celebrating small wins, encouraging a growth mindset, fostering flexibility and adaptability, and establishing continuous feedback mechanisms.
These practices create a supportive environment where teamwork flourishes and individuals feel valued and motivated. For my business, I am always open for collaborations, and I welcome ideas I have learned a lot of lessons from great people in my journey.”
Envisioning The Future
To gather Dr. Hanan Al Mheiri’s insights on the future of her industry, we asked, “How do you foresee the evolution of your industry or field over the next 5-10 years? Are there emerging trends or innovations that you anticipate playing a pivotal role?”
“In the corporate world over the next 5-10 years, I foresee a greater emphasis on human-centric approaches to organizational transformation and leadership development. Emerging trends such as remote work, digital transformation, and the need for agile leadership will shape the industry.
Innovations in technology-enabled learning platforms, virtual coaching tools, and data analytics will play a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation. But if we talk about the Hanan Empire I have a very clear vivid vision of how it will exponentially expand to include various businesses.” Hanan shared.
“While I foresee the mindset coaching industry flourishing in the future. Currently, there are varied perceptions about coaching. Some people don’t see its value, while others find it too expensive. However, they often don’t realize that coaching can help them achieve significant progress in a much shorter time. For instance, goals that might take 20 years to achieve could be reached in 1 to 5 years with the help of coaching, depending on their goals and commitment to the process. On the other hand, there are individuals who truly appreciate the value of coaching. These people are very committed and have been able to change their lives dramatically. By leveraging the tools and guidance provided by coaches, they have experienced substantial personal and professional growth, making remarkable strides in a relatively short period. Coaching provides the tools and guidance needed for a quantum leap in personal and professional development”.

“My advice to newcomers in this industry is to cultivate a growth mindset, embrace challenges as opportunities for learning, seek mentorship and continuous learning, and stay adaptable and resilient in the face of change. Key lessons that have shaped my perspective include the importance of human behavior in organizational transformation, the value of empathy and collaboration in leadership, and the need for continuous self-reflection and growth.
Additionally, one important tip I want to share is to always embrace both the roles of student and expert, regardless of your formal education or accolades. Continuously learning and staying curious are keys to long-term success. Finally, I advise everyone to take full accountability for their life and make necessary changes. Our minds are powerful, and we are only using a very small portion of its capability.” Hanan concluded.
