We recently had the privilege to have a conversation with Arjun Prasad, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at QX Lab AI. With more than 18 years of practical experience in this area, Arjun has played a significant role in the development of several businesses. Recently, Arjun’s journey has been acclaimed with an Honorary Doctorate for International Business from Malaysia.
As CSO of QX Lab, Arjun is in charge of steering the evolving Gen AI market, spearheading strategic initiatives and partnerships to foster growth, and getting an edge over competitors. We were eager to learn about the advent of Arjun Prasad in this profession. So, we asked, “Could you start by telling us about your professional career path?”
Arjun Prasad shared, “With almost 20 years of expertise in the startup ecosystem, I have primarily focused on identifying and supporting innovative startups. Beginning at 23, I have been in business for 18 years, establishing ventures like EPay and ISK Payment Gateway. Since 2004, I have been the Managing Director of Prasad family office – Alpha Capital, alongside investing in ventures like Net Pay, Uber, Captchalive Media Solutions, and many more. Later, in 2018, I co-founded QX lab AI with Tilakraj Parmar and Tathagat Prakash.
As a CSO, I focus on driving strategic initiatives and partnering to drive growth, navigate the ever-evolving Gen AI market, and gain a competitive advantage in this space. Owing to my contributions, I have been honored with an Honorary Doctorate in International Business from Malaysia.”

Since our global launch, we’ve grown from 8 million to 13 million users, a testament to the trust and support of our community. This feedback loop is crucial for ensuring Ask QX remains user-centric, adapting to the evolving needs of our users.” Arjun Prasad replied.

Lastly, addressing the fresh start-ups and beginners in this field, we asked, “Would you like to give beginners in the same industry some advice?”
Arjun Prasad shared, “Starting a disruptive technology journey requires a blend of vision, scaling skills, and a thorough comprehension of the possible effects. I have simple advice for newcomers to this field: concentrate on recognizing challenges that are distinct from others and have no satisfactory solutions. The core of disruption is not technology per se, but rather how it improves and changes people’s lives.
Consider your solution’s use from the beginning as you design it. The ability to grow and modify your technology to meet new or expanded requirements is known as upscaling, and it needs to be a major factor in your design process. Whether it’s for sociological, environmental, or economic reasons, every technology decision you make should be in line with the larger impact you hope to achieve.
