Global Village, a famous destination for tourists and locals in Dubai, will be closed for the season and end on April 30. With only four days left, many things in Global Village (GV) must be noticed.
The open-air entertainment destination provides a wide range of attractions like shopping, entertainment, and cultural experiences and is situated on the outskirts of Dubai. Visitors can explore pavilions representing many countries, sample international cuisine, watch live performances, and enjoy carnival rides and games.
As the final countdown begins, visitors can take advantage of the pleasant weather and enjoy astonishing performances at a reasonable price. So here is a roundup of activities you can enjoy with your friends and families.
1. Global Village Big Balloon
This season, Global Village has introduced a new attraction that offers guests a panoramic 360-degree view of the entertainment park. The highlight of this element is a helium balloon that hangs at an impressive height of around 60 meters and can accommodate about 20 people at a time. The experience suits all age groups; children below three can enjoy a free ride.
2.Eco-friendly ice rink
The giant ice rink at the entrance of the Carnaval is a ” revolutionary, world-class synthetic rink,” which gives the ice skating experience but without wet feet and cold noses. Visitors are given all the necessary equipment, including skating seal aids for the children, skates, and fluffy socks.
3. House of Fears
Covering an impressive area of 660 square meters, the House of Fears boasts nine spine-chilling and unique experiences, from a haunted cemetery to a hospital psychiatric ward and a screaming tree. As per the Global Village team, this attraction is the most terrifying haunted house ever made in the territory.
4. Heroes Gallery at GV museum
Iconic comic superheroes inspire this new Heroes Gallery of the season and are home to rotating exhibits. The lightsaber of Luke Skywalker, Marty McFly’s shoes, and a Hoverboard were on display.
