This season, Global Village has introduced a new attraction that offers guests a panoramic 360-degree view of the entertainment park. The highlight of this element is a helium balloon that hangs at an impressive height of around 60 meters and can accommodate about 20 people at a time. The experience suits all age groups; children below three can enjoy a free ride.

2.Eco-friendly ice rink

The giant ice rink at the entrance of the Carnaval is a ” revolutionary, world-class synthetic rink,” which gives the ice skating experience but without wet feet and cold noses. Visitors are given all the necessary equipment, including skating seal aids for the children, skates, and fluffy socks.

3. House of Fears

Covering an impressive area of 660 square meters, the House of Fears boasts nine spine-chilling and unique experiences, from a haunted cemetery to a hospital psychiatric ward and a screaming tree. As per the Global Village team, this attraction is the most terrifying haunted house ever made in the territory.

4. Heroes Gallery at GV museum

Iconic comic superheroes inspire this new Heroes Gallery of the season and are home to rotating exhibits. The lightsaber of Luke Skywalker, Marty McFly’s shoes, and a Hoverboard were on display.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium is also a part of the exclusive Ripley’s experience at Global Village, including permits to the moving 4D theatre and Marvelous Mirror Gaze.

5. Foodie Heaven

Prepare yourself to indulge in a culinary adventure by adding around 50 new dining ideas and a mouth-watering choice of more than 200 restaurants, cafes, and street food options. One of the new dining concepts allows foodies to savor detectable dishes from around the world while soaking in the magnificent sights and sounds of the Dragon Lake.

6. Floating Market

Global Village has a store for food enthusiasts, including an Asian- inspired floating market that serves an array of tempting dishes like Indonesian ramen, Vietnamese pho, Malaysian spicy grills, and Korean dumplings.

For Indian street food lovers, the chaat bazaar will serve popular dishes from across India, usually made in a festive and wedding setting. Apart from this, the revamped railway market will boast massive sweets and pastry decorations to delight the taste buds of all visitors.

7. Country Pavilions

A true definition of a global village – the place hosts 27 pavilions representing 78 countries worldwide. The pavilions include UAE, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, America, Kuwait, Thailand, Egypt, Europe, China, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Turkey, Palestine, Yemen, Afghanistan, Russia, and Africa.

8. Fireworks

Every Friday and Saturday at 9 pm, fireworks light up the sky at the Global Village, and the best part is that you can enjoy this stunning show without spending an extra penny, as it is included in the general ticket price.

Global Village tickets: Tickets are from Dh18 online and Dh20 at the gate. The cost is Dh22.5 online and Dh25 at the entrance on Fridays and Saturdays.
