The Prince of Participants in the COP28 at Expo City  in Dubai were greeted by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and ruler of Dubai. Speaking on the “X” platform, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid stated: “We welcome more than 70,000 guests from 198 countries to the United Arab Emirates. They are heads of state, government leaders, ministers, officials from companies and international organizations, academics, and media professionals who have come to discuss one issue—preserving our planet for future generations.

“The mission is great… and the challenges are great,” Sheikh Mohammed continued. “But history teaches us that the greatest secret to the prosperity of their civilizations and their continued progress was and still is the meeting of people, their cooperation, and the unification of their efforts.”

“We extend our best wishes to all participants in this humanitarian endeavor, and by holding this remarkable international event in the United Arab Emirates, we are once again demonstrating our faith in our national team.”
