Hospital Introduces the Newest Eyesight Correction Technology Available Worldwide in a "Refractive Surgery Unit."

With cutting-edge technology, individuals over 40 can now receive treatment for SMILE (small incision lenticular extraction), a significant form of eye vision correction, in a matter of minutes, eliminating the need for reading glasses.

Dr. Sandip Mitra, MD, FRCS, head of department at Al Zahra Private Hospital in Dubai and cornea and refractive fellow at Melbourne University, Australia, spoke with Gulf Today on the opening of the new ophthalmology refractive surgical unit.

The hospital’s dedication to offering the newest medical technology to treat vision issues globally was demonstrated at the launch event, which was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Faisal Al Qasimi, the Managing Director and General Manager of Al Zahra Hospital, Dr. Marwan Al Mulla, the Executive Director of the Health Regulation Sector at the Dubai Health Authority, and a host of other medical leaders and specialists.
