Heavy Rains Pound the UAE, Causing Landslides, Airline Disruptions, and Floods.

The severe weather expected to hit the UAE this weekend has begun. Heavy rain and thunder pelted numerous sections of the country overnight, and many inhabitants awoke to showers, gloomy sky, and strong winds.

Everyone is recommended to remain indoors. Events were cancelled, and popular recreational areas were closed.
Two trucks have come from Sharjah to assist people in extracting vehicles from the sea. Many people have parked their autos at higher elevations. It is not pouring heavily right now. “The police have informed us that it may rain heavily and that we should be prepared,” added Kamal.

“Based on previous experiences, many cars became caught in water when it rained heavily, and the repair costs were extremely high. “We must take proactive measures to reduce the impact on the vehicles,” Kamal stressed.
