Flag Garden honors significant national figures

Leading media outlets in Dubai marked UAE Flag Day today at the Flag Garden honors significant in response to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s demand, as the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to observe the day on November 3.

The 10th Flag Garden, which is hosted at Umm Suqeim Beach by Brand Dubai, the creative branch of the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO), honors Dubai’s visionary leadership by arranging 6,000 flags into aerial portraits that drive the city’s advancement in a variety of fields.

Standing sixty meters tall and spanning 131 meters, this year’s Flag Garden showcases portraits of the following notable figures: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance of the UAE; and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
