The chat offered a sneak peek into the Artemis mission, a joint effort by the UAE Space Agency and Nasa that began in 2020, showcasing the nation’s active role in exploring outer space.
Artemis III, a significant chapter in the mission, plans to make history by bringing the first woman to the Moon. The surprise twist came as Williams and AlMansoori spilled the beans on the possible involvement of Emirati astronauts, Mohammad AlMulla and Nora AlMatrooshi, in this big lunar adventure.
The chat also stressed the Moon’s importance as a crucial step before venturing to Mars. Williams highlighted the need to set up a comfy home on the Moon first.
