Emirates Airlines Increases Pay and Benefits for Staff Members by 4% to 15%.

Top airline officials have announced that the Emirates Group has approved a 4% increase in employee salaries and benefits, effective July 2024. The decision was made after Emirates gave its workers bonuses equal to 20 weeks’ pay in recognition of the company’s record financial performance in its fiscal year 2023–2024. Over 112,000 workers from 160 countries work for Emirates Airlines and Dnata in all areas of their operations, particularly in Dubai.

According to a letter sent to Dubai employees that Gulf Today was able to view, the Emirates Airlines Group will begin implementing numerous changes in July 2024 following a review of pay and benefits for the year 2024.

A group spokesman told Gulf Today that the review is part of the group’s commitment to supporting employees by examining living expenses. The group aims to make the carrier the aviation industry’s preferred employer.

Beginning on July 1, flight crew members will experience a 4% increase in working hours and a 4% increase in their base pay, special allowances for UAE citizens, and transportation allowances.

The benefits also include increases in lodging and sustenance allowances ranging from 10% to 15%. On July 22, 2024, the contractual amendment letter will consist of details about the new basic salary and fixed allowances.
