During the Eid Al Fitr holidays, 6,330 trips between cities are scheduled by Sharjah’s transport department

During the Eid Al Fitr holidays, 6,330 trips between cities are scheduled by Sharjah's transport department.

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has developed a strategy to provide secure passenger transportation services during everyday excursions between cities during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
Under this strategy, daily passenger journeys will increase. From April 9 to April 12, 6,330 trips are anticipated to be run on all transit lines between cities.

The Sharjah RTA Chairman, Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, said that the emirate’s geographic position has made it a hub for numerous Arab and other nations. Therefore, by creating plans and implementing policies that improve transportation services, the Authority is attempting to keep up with the growing number of consumers of transportation services, particularly buses. These tactics include running the emirate’s transportation system on several lines, emphasizing maximizing comfort and smoothness by using safer transit modes.

By supplying enough buses to serve all Emirates transit passengers, the Authority has fulfilled its preparation to welcome well-wishers on Eid Al Fitr. During that time, 789 buses have been assigned to work on transportation routes connecting cities. The Authority wants to continuously give its users every kind of comfort.
