Dubai Police advise parents to check their children's risky car stunts.

Dubai Police are urging parents to be more watchful and actively involved in stopping reckless behaviours that could have serious repercussions and endanger people’s lives and property to combat the irresponsible driving behaviour displayed by some young people.

The General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police’s Director, Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, emphasized the department’s reaction to many allegations and grievances from Al Khawaneej locals and guests of the Last Exit region. He pointed out that these stories featured dangerous and ostentatious driving by cars, motorbikes, and electric bikes, endangering the public.

Additionally, it was discovered that the drivers were breaking major traffic laws and travelling against the flow of traffic. As a result, the Department started a thorough traffic campaign that led to the seizure of 121 vehicles and the issuance of 496 fines. 40 motorcyclists and 81 cars were among them, and their drivers disregarded traffic laws and regulations,” he said.

Maj. Gen. Al Mazrouei emphasized once more how Dubai Police has a zero-tolerance stance against careless and dangerous drivers. He emphasized that Decree No. 30 of 2023 concerning traffic violations and the impoundment of vehicles was necessary because of the aggressive behaviour of these drivers. This decree attempts to protect people and property and effectively deal with irresponsible drivers who endanger their own and others’ lives.
