Dubai Civil Defense Introduces the First-ever Mobile floating Fire Station Globally.

Dubai Civil Defense has introduced the world’s first sustainable mobile floating fire station, a noteworthy move that furthers the department’s leadership in safety infrastructure and innovation. The project reflects Dubai’s ongoing efforts to improve environmental sustainability and its fire and rescue capabilities.

The new mobile floating fire station, designed to offer improved coverage, faster reaction times, and great efficiency in protecting marine activities, is expected to revolutionize Dubai’s maritime emergency response systems. The floating construction is 70% more affordable than conventional marine fire stations and is the first in the world to be sustainable and environmentally benign.

Director General of Dubai Civil Defense Lieutenant General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matroushi stated: “The mobile floating fire station installation is a major advancement in our quest to become the world’s foremost safety and security organization. The opening of this station is a testament to our commitment to creating cutting-edge safety solutions and our desire to improve Dubai’s infrastructure and services in general. With a target reaction time of just four minutes, this facility puts Dubai at the forefront of cutting response times to maritime emergencies, substantially improving our marine firefighting capabilities.
