Indian expats in the UAE can now submit their application for visa and passport services on all days, including Sundays.

Dr. Aman Puri, Consul General of India, on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day of India celebrations, suggested,” I repeat our commitment to work towards your welfare and well-being. Since last week, the outsourced service provider for visa and passport services has been functioning on all days of the week. “

The expert service provider manages passport and visa-connected administrative and support services for its government clients and diplomatic missions. It strives to operate in around 20 countries.

He also stated, “The council sustains an open-door policy whereby any Indian national may visit the consulate to register their grudge regarding any matter without an appointment or prior information.”

To cater to the demand and requests from the Indian migration, it has been decided that three centers located in Sharjah and Dubai will be opened for the submission of applications for passport and visa services on all days starting from January 22 except local government holidays ( and Sundays during the month of Ramadan from March 23 till June 22).

For Sundays, the applicants can submit their online filled application along with the required supporting documents on an appointment basis only from 9 am to 3 pm except for tatkal cases, emergency cases ( medical treatment, death), and senior citizens, who can submit on a walk-in basis.

Addressing the event attendees included:

  • Senior officials of the UAE Government.
  • Members of the diplomatic corps.
  • Friends of India.
  • Prominent representatives of the country’s business community.
  • Other fields.

Dr. Puri also expresses his thankfulness towards the UAE leadership for supporting the values of openness and tolerance, where more than 200 nationalists coexist in harmony.
