Dubai residents may save 50% on a shopping spree that includes Christmas gifts and jackets during the three-day blockbuster sale.

A little more people than usual may expect to be at Dubai’s malls as the three-day blockbuster sale begins. A few of the residents went on a shopping binge on Friday, day 1, and were successful in grabbing fantastic deals.

Ali Sultan is a sales professional originally from Kazakhstan and he never misses the big sale season. As he searched Deira City Center for clothing and shoes, he remarked, “I have been doing this for nearly 3 years in Dubai.”

Sultan took full advantage of the sales to buy presents for friends and family that he planned to give away while on his yearly vacation. He told Khaleej Times, “I saved 40 to 50 percent on shopping during the sale.”

“In my hometown, friends and family expect something from someone who has just returned from a few days away in one of the GCC countries. Additionally, I can save money and obtain great prices by purchasing gifts during the sales season,” he remarked.

Lebanese expat uzzane, who lives in Mirdif, concurred that the huge selling signified a giving season.
