Drivers in Fujairah have been arrested for careless driving and causing damage to public property.

Many drivers who drove carelessly and endangered other road users as well as damaged public property were taken into custody by the Fujairah police General Directorate.

The traffic department had previously kept an eye on footage that went popular on social media, featuring suspects displaying their cars during a wedding event in the Madhab area.

Shortly after the video footage were released, the suspects were taken into custody.

The appropriate legal actions are being taken against the detained, according to Fujairah Police Deputy Commander-in-Chief Brigadier Mohammed Bin Naieh Al Taniji.

The police provide a warning to drivers who break traffic laws and regulations, emphasizing the importance of doing so. They also threaten to take extreme sanctions and legal action against anyone who puts other drivers’ safety in danger.
