Dh1.8 billion is spent on help by Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives in 2023.

According to the foundation’s annual report, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives spent Dh1.8 billion helping 111 million individuals in 105 countries in 2023.

Compared to 2022, MBRGI’s coverage increased by five nations and its number of beneficiaries increased by nine billion, solidifying its status as the most significant regional system for community work, development, and humanitarian aid.

The numbers were revealed on Thursday at a special ceremony held at Dubai Opera. The initiative’s board of trustees met, presided over by Vice President and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and examined the 2023 annual report.

The celebration showcased the foundation’s achievements from 2023 and prior years and included updates on the Mothers’ Endowment Campaign’s efforts this year.

“We consider it a significant victory for both humanity and ourselves when we can provide the resources and instruments to combat poverty, illness, or ignorance to someone in need, wherever they may be in the world,” Sheikh Mohammed declared.

Our programs range from providing help, health, and education to strengthening communities, encouraging young people, and inspiring optimism.

“Our mission is to help areas continue their upward trajectory while providing assistance to those in need.”
